The “A Boy. A Girl. A Dream.” promotion at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival started yesterday (January 21). Together with fellow cast mates Omari Hardwick (Cass), Dijon Talton (Naqeeb), Jay Ellis, Qasim Basir (director) and Datari Turner (producer), Meagan Good first went to SAGindie actors only brunch.
Meagan and her team mates then stopped by the Hollywood Reporter studio and the IMDB studio.
Still accompanied by Jay Ellis, Qasim Basir, Datari Turner and Omari Hardwick, Meagan participated in two lives Q&A hosted by Facebook at Buena Vita and at the Vulture spot.
Finally, the “A Boy. A Girl. A Dream.” cast shared some behind-the-scenes videos on their official Facebook page.
Looks like the promotion of “A Boy. A Girl. A Dream” has started. On Thursday (January 19), Vibe.com released an interview with producer Datari Turner (“Video Girl“, “A Girl Like Grace“, “Dysfunctional Friends“, “LUV“). Here’s what the 38-year-old producer and actor said about Meagan Good:
On how he met Meagan Good: “Meagan and Omari are dear, close personal friends of mine. […] Meagan is sort of like my producing partner. We’ve made five movies together. Her husband Devon as a childhood friend of mine, but Meagan was the first actress to believe in me when I was leaving the fashion idustry and was making the transition to a producer.”
On why she chose her for the movie: “She really championed my work early on. I’m a loyal person and I couldn’t thank her enough for believing in me early in my career and we’ve continued to work together.”
Having attended four editions, Meagan Good is a veteran of the festival. The 36-year-old actress made her debut at the event in 2004 to present the action-comedy film “D.E.B.S“. Next year, she went there to promote the neo-noir mystery film, “Brick“. 3 years later, Meagan Good made a quick appearance… while none of her movies had been selected. The last time she attended the renowned film festival was for the premiere of “L.U.V” in 2012.

“A Boy. A Girl. A Dream” is set to premiere next Monday (January 22) at the Sundance Film Festival’s NEXT section.
